Originally released in 2010, Hurricane has been digitally remastered and given a face lift. (New cover artwork) Reminiscent of the playful melodic hooks of the sixties; Hurricane has a happy upbeat tune. The song describes a world turned upside down and the disorder and blissful confusion caused by one person. A great tongue in check moment occurs with the line “Everybody’s going insane”; as the final chorus of the song includes a choir with many different parts singing at once. At points it sounds like “a chaotic order”, as if the whole world is going insane!
lyrics
I took a walk in the rain one day, just to clear my head. I did my best to stop thinking of you, and every single word that you said. Oh you're so confusing. I just don't know what to do.
You hit my world like a hurricane with everybody in the way. Like a reverse solar eclipse you turned my night to day. Everything stopped but the world kept spinning. Everybodys going insane. 'Cause you hit my world, like a hurricane.
I took a walk in the rain one day, just to clear my mind. I should have known, it's impossible; I think about you all the time. Oh you're still confusing. Oh I just don't know what to do.
You hit my world like a hurricane with everybody in the way. Like a reverse solar eclipse you turned my night to day. Everything stopped but the world kept spinning. Everybodys going insane. 'Cause you hit my world, like a hurricane.
